A teacher for a current student usually writes a college letter of reference. The letter may serve one of a variety of purposes; it may be a reference to college, a scholarship, a unique college program.
The letter is shown with the student’s report card providing insight into what kind of student he or she is. Ask the student for information about the school he or she is considering. Try to focus on the student’s skills that relate to their ability to succeed at that school. Make sure to avoid the clichés, and back up any statement with concrete evidence.
Guidance counselors, administrators, and supervisors may also write academic letters of reference letters for students. Elaborate on how you know the student and for how long you’ve known the student. If you are a professor, mention as to how many subjects he or she has taken with you. If you are a company employer, mention the student’s role in your company.

Dear Dean,
I have known Cynthia for the past two years, having served as both her English teacher and her supervisor on the Candian High School newspaper. I believe she would be an excellent addition to Harvard College. While a student at Canadian High School, Cynthia has always defied herself academically.
She is an active member in class debates and grasps knowledge quickly. She has excellent written and verbal proficiency that is a pleasure for any teacher to encounter. Cynthia even tutors incoming high school first-year students who are struggling with their English courses. Cynthia also excels in extracurricular projects. She has been the editor of our high school paper for the past two years and has written some intelligent, thought-provoking posts Her capability to authorize work to her assistants also display her organizational abilities and crisp leadership skills.
Cynthia would bring so much to your school, both inside and outside of the classroom. If you have any questions regarding Cynthia’s qualifications, please feel free to contact me at 1826789045 or MissLovely@gmail.com
Yours sincerely,
Jacob John,
