Everyone has a spirit; hence, it is not surprising that people have spiritual needs. Spiritual needs can be met by receiving spiritual messages. Most people feel a void within that only a spiritual fulfillment can satisfy.
Spiritual messages are usually conveyed by spiritual authorities or people who are well versed with spiritual matters. A religious message refers to things that cannot be seen or explained through the physical; sometimes, it defies logic and science.
Most people will believe that there is a spiritual realm and there are spirits around – good and bad. A spiritual message is intended to raise the faith of an individual and belief in a higher source beyond self and science. It draws one closer to, and to depend on the greater power.
A spiritual message can be inspiring, assuring, motivating and refreshing to the soul and spirit. One who hears and receives a spiritual message can find contentment in his soul. His spirit is appeased to be at peace, with himself, others and even the universal.
Spiritual messages can be in the forms of books or sermons; the latter is heard in spiritual services of a particular faith or belief group where a spiritual need is fulfilled through the encouraging words conveyed in the spiritual message.

Dearly beloved brothers- and sisters-in-Christ
Today we shall consider this God of whom we are gathered together here.
Let us refer to the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 1. This book was written by Apostle Paul, one of Christ’s greatest and most humble apostles, to the people of Corinth. Corinth was a very vibrant and cosmopolitan city in those days, just like New York today.
But they were too busy to get to know this God; they thought they were wise enough to make their own choices, and that did not include God. But Paul says that everyone who calls on this God’s name – Jesus Christ – will be enriched in every way. Everyone wants to be rich and be enriched, and in every aspect. I want it; do you?
Paul says this God calls you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ so that you will lack nothing. This is the God we serve; He has it all, and He wants to give us all. Our God is a rich God. He owns everything on earth; in fact, He owns everything in the universe because He has created all things. Psalm 8:6-8 tell us so.
Don’t you want to know this God more, now that you know who He is, how great He is, what He has and can do? There is no one quite like Him. Verse 20 says ‘Where is the wise man?’ The people of old were foolish to reject Him for they did not know Him, but today, brothers and sisters, you do. Acknowledge Him today and enjoy His riches.
May God bless you as you hear and accept His word; choose then, to believe in Him today.
Amen.
