An introduction letter is written to introduce oneself to others. This letter should be formal. It does not need to convey too many personal details. It needs to also not be overboard with praises as reality is expected through an introduction. However, it needs to be simple and concise. Clear, and to the point, statements need to be made in an introduction letter. Also, the points need to be genuine and understandable as the receiver would not be able to see the sender in person to make out if his claims are genuine or not.
The recipient needs to be convinced that the sender’s statements through his introduction letter are genuine and valid. An introduction letter is a formal approach of introducing oneself appropriately, especially on the professional front. The tone of the letter should be polite, and at the same time, it need not be overboard. There is a complete possibility that the receiver will perform certain background checks on the sender as well as a review if the introduction is valid and genuine or not.
