A business goodbye letter is written by the employer of the organization to his employees at the time of his departure. This letter not only serves the purpose of a farewell message but also is used for letting his employees know about his decision. The employer is more often than not, deeply saddened to leave the organization. He is sad to leave as he does not want to stop working as of yet and he fears that the rapport he shared with his employees would cease to exist once he leaves.
This letter, unlike other goodbye letters, can be written formally as per the rules and regulations of the organization. But it is mostly written in a formal style where the employer is more vocal about his decision of leaving. The letter has a nostalgic tone where the employer talks about previous projects and thanks all of his employees. He wishes them the best for their future and provides them with his contact details so that they can remain in touch.

Dear colleagues,
With a heavy heart, I am addressing this letter to all of you. Due to personal reasons, I have decided to leave the organization and shift to a new country. As this decision was made quickly I was unable to talk to all of you personally and hence, I have resorted to writing this letter. I have worked here for a very long time and it will very hard for me to leave this organization, but most importantly it will be hard for me to leave a place with all of my friends.
I will cherish all the memories I have made and the years that have gone by. I apologize if my stern behavior at times hurt anyone. This was never intended to hurt anyone personally but rendered due to professional reasons. Due to reasons of my own, I am now retiring from my post, but I do know that the company is in perfectly capable hands. Rest assured that this company will achieve more success than ever.
I have learned a lot from all of you, and it was a fantastic experience to have worked with you all. I hope that our friendship lasts forever. I now take goodbye and wish you the very best for the future. I am leaving my contact details. Please feel free to contact me if you need any help. Hope to hear from all of you soon.
Regards,
Mason.
