Given the competitive environment that exists in companies and firms today, where each day brings forth a new challenge and problems to solve, a fair few may be hesitant to request a leave for an extended duration. The letter must be formally written and should address the person directly. It should acknowledge them for having it approved and must effectively convey your thanks. The letter should brush over what you need the leave for and must not go into any details about the matter.
