An unsolicited letter of inquiry is a letter written by someone to inquire the receiver regarding something but it is not in response to any previous correspondence but on the will of the sender if he/ she thinks that the receiver can be of some help. It is a formal letter where you don’t know the receiver personally. It is supposed to be short and to the point. Be polite and humble.
In businesses or in life you have to make inquiries in case you want a new service or product or even help of someone. You politely ask the receiver for any doubts that linger in your mind or their help and whether they are willing to help you. The receiver usually isn’t expecting this kind of letter as it is unsolicited and not asked by him/ her. Here you are making the first move of your own accord. The following as a few sample of how to write an unsolicited inquiry letter.

- The letter must begin with your introduction.
