When you purchase goods that are big and substantial, such as home appliances, furniture, accessories or in certain cases even foodstuff, the vendor has an option to send the delivery the items that you have purchased to your doorstep. In most cases, when the delivery personnel also carry out the installation of the item as a courtesy. Given the margin for error, in certain scenarios you may have issues with the delivery such as the delivery may take a while or not be delivered at all; it may not be the one which you initially purchased, is different from what was advertised or may have some defects. In such cases, you have no other option than to contact the customer services to register your complaint.
While such complaints can be registered to the customer care department, you may be asked to submit a complaint in writing, which is where a Delivery Complaint Letter comes into the picture. Such a letter must formally address the vendor or company, containing all the necessary details about the transaction, in addition to the issue with the delivery.

Dear Sir/Maam,
I am writing this letter to bring to your notice my grievance with regards to the delivery of my Sofa set, which was ordered on 23rd February 2017. Despite almost a month having elapsed since the purchase, the pieces of furniture have still not been delivered.
I have repeatedly tried to get in touch with the customer service number for your company who insist that there is nothing they can do as the blame ought to reside on the delivery company that you delegate such tasks. When I call the shipping company, they insist that the problem lies on your end as they haven’t received any payment or paperwork for the same. This same process has been going on for almost a month, and there seems to be no end towards this issue. Hence I have been forced to contact the management directly over the issue as there appears to be no other path out of this impasse. As I do possess all the receipts and forms, I am inclined to complain to the consumer protection board and take you to court over this matter if I do not get an immediate response on the matter.
I hope for a swift response.
Yours Sincerely,
Iris West

Dear Sir / Maam,
I am writing this letter to bring to your notice my grievance with regards to the delivery of my Television, which was ordered on 14th February 2017. While the delivery was made immediately within a period of two days from the date of purchase, the model that I have received is not the one that I had ordered.
I have repeatedly tried to get in touch with the customer service over the matter for two weeks, and I keep getting hung up or transferred to different departments. The model of the TV that was delivered is different to the one mentioned on my receipt, and that is all the proof that I need to take this matter to the consumer court to sue your company for malpractices.
I hope that my complaint will be looked upon at the earliest and the correct model of the television delivered with no extra charges.
Yours Sincerely,
Robert White
